Oh yes!.. I agree. I'm basically a blues tragic myself but David Gilmour crosses all genres. He is a truly original player. I would say he is number 4 as far as British rock/blues guitarists go. That's after numero uno Jeff Beck , Clapton (2) and Page (3)..JUst my opinion of course

Oh Tessa you might be sorry you said that! haha. I would happily share some of my own music here if I knew how to do it. I can record an mp3 of some blues slide guitar. I have a ZOOM H4N recorder. but I have no idea how to get that on here. Maybe some tech savvy person on the site can help. BUt how about we start with some John Lee Hooker with Carlos Santana. )

Ooo Santana!
There's a thread somewhere that tells you how to post Youtube videos, you put YT in square brackets take out the h ..youtube/ bit and add /YT in square brackets at the end (if that makes sense. Not sure about other videos though, hope you manage to post some.

I came across it by accident as it was playing in the classical room at London's HMV in Oxford Street years ago, TessA.
I was very surprised to find out that it by a member of the hardcore punk outfit New Model Army doing a solo venture. It's a lovely album.
