The American Academy of Environmental Medicine Calls for Immediate Caution regarding Smart Meter Installation

https://www.aaemonline.org/pdf/pressadvisoryemf.pdf

Citing several peer‐reviewed scientific studies, the AAEM concludes that “significant harmful biological effects occur from non‐thermal RF exposure” showing causality. The AAEM also expresses concern regarding significant, but poorly understood quantum field effects of EMF and RF fields on
human health.

“More independent research is needed to assess the safety of ‘Smart Meter’ technology,” said Dr. Amy Dean, board certified internist and President‐Elect of the AAEM. “Patients are reporting to physicians the development of symptoms and adverse health effects after ‘Smart Meters’ are installed on their homes. Immediate action is necessary to protect the public’s health.”

Hi

A bunch of nutters.

This a good reference point for checking some of the stuff on health related claims.

OK let's assume, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that RF radiation causes cancer.

I know real science isn't your forte but the inverse square law comes into effect here - ie double the distance, quarter the radiation.

Brain tumours eh? - perhaps caused by a radio transmitter a few mm from the brain? Perhaps if you sleep with your head on your smart meter there is a remote chance its RF radiation might affect you.

It's the fruit loops that say, "Don't built telephone towers near schools" when in reality the RF danger is not from the telephone tower (see first para) the bigger (but still tiny) source of RF is from the telephone stuck to your ear. The further the tower the more power emitted by the mobile phone. Having a tower on top of a school means that young brains are subject to less RF not more.

Anyway after that flight of fancy let's get back to reality:

From Cancer Research UK:

https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/abo...nd-power-lines

Research so far shows that it is unlikely mobile phones could increase the risk of brain tumours or other types of cancer. But we still need to know more about any potential long-term effects.

The use of mobile phones has skyrocketed over recent decades. If mobile phones increase the risk of brain tumours, more and more people should now be developing them. Between the 1990s and 2016, mobile phone ownership in the UK increased by around 500% but the brain tumour incidence rate only increased by around 34%. And the increase in diagnoses is mainly due to better detection and reporting of brain tumours. So we haven’t seen an increase in brain tumour rates to match the increase in mobile phone use.
This is repeated by research from all over the world so I am afraid the tin foil brigade is once more on a hiding to nothing left grasping at David 'Avocado' Wolfe straws.

It seems that the nurse was describing mainly breast cancer and prostate cancer patients who were visiting on a regular basis for treatment Judd, but Sheffield Weston Park Hospital is the centre for all types of cancer.

I do agree with you on all of the possible causes Judd and I would like to add hereditary factors also. It would appear that most of the breast cancer patients had mothers or sisters experiencing the same and that it seems to run in families.

If that is the case then it would go some way to explaining the increase in cases i.e. A mother with two daughters, who then produced two daughters each, would multiply very quickly over a couple of generations to the level that we are now experiencing.

RF radiation is already classified as a Group 2B possible human carcinogen.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5504984/

World Health Organization, radiofrequency radiation and health - a hard nut to crack (Review)

"In May 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) evaluated cancer risks from radiofrequency (RF) radiation. Human epidemiological studies gave evidence of increased risk for glioma and acoustic neuroma. RF radiation was classified as Group 2B, a possible human carcinogen. Further epidemiological, animal and mechanistic studies have strengthened the association. In spite of this, in most countries little or nothing has been done to reduce exposure and educate people on health hazards from RF radiation. On the contrary ambient levels have increased. In 2014 the WHO launched a draft of a Monograph on RF fields and health for public comments. It turned out that five of the six members of the Core Group in charge of the draft are affiliated with International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), an industry loyal NGO, and thus have a serious conflict of interest. Just as by ICNIRP, evaluation of non-thermal biological effects from RF radiation are dismissed as scientific evidence of adverse health effects in the Monograph. This has provoked many comments sent to the WHO. However, at a meeting on March 3, 2017 at the WHO Geneva office it was stated that the WHO has no intention to change the Core Group."

It's clear the 'powers that be' have no vested interest in properly testing all of this. They would only stand to lose billions from mobile and smart meter technology and billions of lost revenue from cancer treatments and drugs.

We are all being exposed to more and more RF radiation as more and more wireless technologies emerge. Collectively this will imho have major impact to health.

Re: 5G

Oh there's plenty of testimonies from people suffering all manner of neuro related problems when living next to mobile transmitters or on top of smart meters.

But there's absolutely no vested interest in the industry and associated corrupt governments properly doing the tests because they can only lose out by doing so.

The "evidence" you refer to will never come even though people all over the world are complaining about debilitating impacts.

Imagine the collossal impact if they DID do independent tests and they showed that human health was significantly damaged by mobile technology, WiFI and Smart Meters. It simply can not happen. The world is now wholly invested in WiFi and mobile technology one way or another. There is absolutely no way back from that. It's here to stay whether it is slowly killing us or not.
