Thank you Mags
I will try to finish it .

Muddy, horses are very difficult to draw, yet you do them well.

Don't give up because you have a talent & I would love to see more.

You need to recognize your talent & work towards perfection, because I think you can do it.
The reason you don't think that is because you reject any mistakes you make. Believe me, most well know artists make mistakes but they still manage to create great works of art.

Think of a horse that you admire & find a photo of him/her.... that will give you a reason to perfect it.

A friend once did a pastel drawing of The Dickler, a racehorse I loved. He said it wasn't perfect but, to me it was the most precious piece of art I have ever owned.

Perfection + a great deal of talent = Paralysis.

You, Da Vinci, and Michelangelo have that in common!

You are off to a really fine start with this! Twink is right, horses are so challenging.

None of my paintings are signed because I like to hang them, stare at them, and then go back and fix the flaws that are irritating. By the lack of signatures, there are a lot of them .

Muddy, I am always so, so thrilled when are painting or sculpting. Your work really is exceptional.

I'm with Mags; finish it!

Re: New painting

hey, Muds, I'm well impressed, wish I could draw/paint, my limit is matchstick men.

You are right good, so you need to use the talent you have, I'm looking forward to the finished product.

Brilliant Muds,
