Korean translation = Eye measure.

It's listening and gauging other peoples moods and sensing what would be the wrong thing to say in certain situations.
Putting people at their ease and not humiliating them by criticising in front of other people
Making people feel good
If a friend asks your opinion about a new dress and said;
"Does my bum look big in this dress" even if she had a generous backside, you would Not say, "Well my dear, you could put a Tea Tray on your Bum and serve Teas from it in Betty's Tea Shop" No! you would say "That's a pretty dress.
Is it comfortable?

And if a male friend said " Do you like my New Short Hair cut? You would not burst out laughing and Say " Did your Mother use a pudding basin when she cut it? It reminds me of an escaped convict"
No" you would say, " Oh! a lovely modern hairstyle"

Your aim is to make others feel happy.

However, some people always like to tell the truth even if it hurts. ..not the Koreans though.
