I can always tell when a storm is due - I feel edgy and headachy - think I caught it from the cats!

I admire your stamina, Pauline! Much as I love to cook in this warm weather I tend to live on salads.

Never could tolerate warm weather. Apparently we are due to fry next week - soaring up into the 80s.

Re: Grrrr...it’s headache weather .

I have never liked thunderstorms. As I have mentioned before, as a kid in my home island if I heard a bang I would assume it was thunder and I would hide. I would only come out when assured it was only a WW2 mine being exploded on the beach! About 15 or so years ago there was a lightening strike about six inches in front of me, onlookers thought I had been struck!

I must admit I've been headachy this last week or so too.
It's drizzling here at the mo.

The only cooking I'm likely to do today is baking some dog biscuits.

I have never heard of anyone actually baking dog biscuits. If our many dogs had any at all they were shop bought.

[QUOTE=Baz46;1747674]Fortunately I no longer get those horrible migraine-type headaches or am affected when the weather is hot and humid with an approaching thunderstorm. It always used to be that at the first sign of thundery weather I would get a bad headache,.

Ditto Baz.

Good to hear someone else no longer suffers from those awful migraine-type headaches, they really are so debilitating. I hope though the 'cure' for your's was not as harsh as mine was!
