Re: When you fall out with a friend

I agree with the others too, Floydy. Try and patch it up.
It is a shame to lose a friend, and uncomfortable if you have to work with them too.

Good luck, and let us know the outcome.

I couldn't resist so I'm breaking my self-imposed exile for this one time.

Give him a big man hug....if he resists tell him to F....off....he's obviously not worth it.

Good luck mate.

Re: When you fall out with a friend

Great replies, thanks very much folks...but I don't think buying him a cream cake will go down too well in a warehouse of 20 rough assed blokes lol

I've taken on board your advice and I'll confront (no, wrong word), approachmy mate and ask if we can forget it all.
I really did go to town and insult him after his pathetic snidey actions, but I reckon both of us want to start again, so I'll see how this goes tonight at work. No way do I want this on my mind another weekend.

Re: When you fall out with a friend

If it was me I wouldn't go overboard - not if it was partly his fault.

I'd say something to him like 'I hate that we had a bust up. Can we forget about it & move on!'

If he refuses, I wouldn't pursue it. He will probably come round in his own time.

Good luck Floydy.

Re: When you fall out with a friend

It wouldn't be a bad idea to send him a text message to pave the way.

Explain how you feel ... See how he reacts when you see him at work.

If he does nothing you've only got to ask him if he got your text and take it from there..

Good advice but he's not the brightest spark and has trouble reading and writing.
I work in a warehouse. In Hull.
