Re: Binko & Co
She had been bleeding a little from her eye and nose during the night. Gently washed her clean and applied eye cream. No food as yet till I get the liquid sort anytime now, she's taken water through the syringe. Had to crumble up her antibiotic tablet in water. She has used her litter tray, bless her. I don't think her jaw is broken, surely the vet wouldn't let her go without wiring it if it was? That couple who saved her are angels on earth. They drove past two other small practices and took her to one with specialists, where pets are referred to. This was in the New Forest, down a country lane, wild ponies and pigs all over the place, whatever was that sod of a driver doing at that speed? Apparently he squashed through and overtook our Samaritans then clipped little Binko.Re: Binko & Co
How fortunate those people came along when they did.Re: Binko & Co
She is improving already, taking liquid kitten food/cat milk through a syringe. The more I gently clean her up, the more surface injuries I find, her eye is looking slightly better. She purrs non-stop so must be feeling better.Re: Binko & Co
I've just seen your thread, Mary ..... poor Binko, I hope she is starting to improve.Re: Binko & Co
Binko is coming along very well, no more bathing her eye to open it to put the cream in, it stays open although horribly bloodshot. Her little face is not so swollen, her cuts are beginning to heal over. She is absolutely loving this Lactol and kitten milk with syringes. I tried to force her to eat just the the jelly from a satchet of kitten food but she's not having it, got a scratched arm for my trouble! She goes back to the vet tomorrow.
