Of course it is.

We don't have convicted criminals running our central bank for a start.

Hi

The vast majority of our payments end on 31st December this year.

The rest is unwinding, payments on both sides.

They are minimal and over a very long period of time, loose change.

The OBR estimates that by 2023 approx. 75% of net payments is made. The financial settlement covers the UK’s contribution to the EU’s international development programmes (European Development Fund, EU Trust Funds and Facility for Refugees in Turkey). These areas sit outside of the EU Budget and the UK currently contributes to them through powers set out in the International Development Act 2002. This Bill says that this will continue to be the case.

The real sore point for bread is the fact that the ECJ keeps jurisdiction on UK trade matters till 1januari 2025.
That includes any trade deal the UK closes before 31 december 2020. (Article 87 of the withdrawal agreement)
