I agree, I've been to the US several times as I had family there.
You're made to feel like a criminal at the airports.

Re: Entry to USA

Youngest sis has booked a trip to NY with two friends for April. I mentioned to her this morning she has to apply for the ESTA. They didn't use a TA so might not be aware of the need. I'll have to warn her to hold her tongue if any official at the airport is rude! She doesn't hold back, lol.

Don't feel singled out, we are too.

Because my husband is a pilot, we (and our paperwork and luggage) are seemingly forever used for practice.

I'd might as well go naked and be supplied with a cigarette and chocolates afterwards.

Fun times.

Re: Entry to USA

Hi

I have a double flag on my Passport in the USA.

First one that comes up is a Person of Interest.

Known to their Security, alarm bells, the full Monty, guns out.

Then they look down the script.

Friend not Foe.

Second Flag, I set off the alarms, metal in me, previous injuries.

That was years ago, now mobile again.

I and my partner get the full treatment.

Golf cart, with luggage, and a free trip into wherever you are going.

They are very, very, efficient.

Re: Entry to USA

Just found this out from my daughter.

OK last time I flew to America landed at Calvary in Canada went threw Their customs and they where very nice and then got a flight to America no problem on landing just went to my taxi.

My daughter just told me get an Aer lingus flight landing in Ireland and a connection to America which is cheap... land in Ireland on the way to America and they do the same.

You land in America and no TSA checks.

You still need an ESTA and if going threw Canada a Canada viser
