Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
How strange is that Rhosyn. What gets me is that this is a scheduled flight that goes every Monday morning - why on earth are they cancelling it?Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Another lovely day.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Out to lunch today with friends from U3A to a restaurant I've been wanting to visit for a long time. Last time I went there was at least 20 years ago and it was then a village pub, rather tired. It was empty for many years and then was bought by an entrepeneur who spent millions on it. The interior was lovely and the staff very efficient. I had whitebait and then the roast lamb. Both delicious but I have to say the vegetables were very "al dente". All very well, but one lives in fear and trembling of carrots flying all over the place when it's difficult to get the fork into them! Needless to say I won't be eating much for the rest of the day!Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Went to a funeral this afternoon, a celebration of a long life so not too sad. Lovely catch up with neighbours who moved away. Collected the boys from the bus, but Jamie was spirited away by his Dad to go and turn hay! Poor dab, he was planning on making pancakes 'cos he was starving.....
