Anyone got an onion seller on a bike or even a man who sells salt from his horse drawn cart, I remember those and the pedlars who sharpened knives and scissors and fixed leaks in tin baths and buckets. What about the coalman who delivered coal in a sack?

I heard the chimes of an icecream van t'other day - was (cheekily) playing the Italian song Sorrento - remember "Just one Cornetto, - give it to me ....

We had an icecream van that used to come around where I used to live, it played, "You Are My Sunshine" wrong speed, slow, slightly off key and with a few wrong notes, very creepy!
