Same here Meg. It did drop down cold here too. In fact I laid a thin layer of fleece over a couple of things, and popped a cloche over a new young peony too, just incase.

good morning. OOPS Yet again I've missed it. I could say I've been busy but it wouldn't be true. I've had my nose in a book and time has gone by without me noticing. A loud rumbling noise alerted me to the fact that I needed to eat. John is home from golf now so he will be wanting to eat as well. Off to the kitchen for cold chicken and chips and maybe some mushy peas. Oh and the chips will be hot not cold
