It's a breadcake, innit?

Getting the idea from Last Tango's recent thread about ketchup in bacon sandwiches, I feel compelled to post this thread.
What do call these ion your neck of the woods. A roll? A bap? A stottie?

To me they will always be called breadcakes.
(And don't get smart...I know it's called a plate)

I would call that a crusty roll. In Leicester it would be called a cob

They are different here too, but not the sort you mean Floydy.
They are a flatter roll, the one on the plate is a crusty roll.
Never heard of breadcakes.

A breadcake, in and around Leeds is what we call a teacake where I live. It's larger and flatter than the one in your picture which we call a bap.
