Re: Bathroom painting

Colours are so much an individual choice Pauline, but personally I am not sure about the yellow. I think I would pick out a pale dove grey from the blind and go with that. Have you any other tiles in the bathroom?

Edited:
Ah! I have noticed they look like white tiles and pale grey would look good IMO.

Do you like to play safe, when choosing wall colours,Aerolar?

Do you have any bright bold colours in your house?

I do tend to play safe with walls Pauline. We recently had them all re-plastered - no wallpapers at all and for a while I want to keep them pale. Woodwork is all white and I like a spacious airy feel to my rooms with pictures on the walls. I tend to pick out the bolder colours and patterns for curtains, cushions, bedding, rugs etc. Much of the flooring downstairs is oak wood except for the lounge which has a carpet. Again pale and neutral and where there is carpet it is the same throughout the house (a longish pile Saxony). The kitchen is also in neutral - cashmere painted units and white walls with pale granite worktops - No wall tiles anymore - just finished in granite upstands and splashback where necessary. Again the floor is wood. Boring really, but very easy on the eye.

Re: Bathroom painting

If they are called "blinds" why would you want to see them anyway?
