There was a clamour on here recently saying there should be an election when she took over from Cameron.

Yes but from what I understand it's not set in stone if she had enough support she could call an election.

Only because Cameron made such a fuss when brown took labours helm, if tories hadn't been so adamant then many of us would not have suggested it now. Hypocritical it seemed.
