I ran away once...got to the shop at the end of our street, realised I still had my slippers on, and I was soaking wet it was raining hard.
So I went home

Yes, often! But I have to make do with short holidays, day trips to London or the coast, just to get away from here and the family.

I sometimes joke to myself, how long would it take for my siblings to realise I was missing, should I ever do it??

I have run away twice. First time went back, big mistake. Second time never went back.

Harold went to post a letter in the postbox at the end of the street and decided to walk to the next one, and the next one, until he found himself walking the length of the country in just a pair of deck shoes.....His story is very interesting with a twist at the end....
