The Steel Industry

If the Government can bail out the thieving Banks for £1182 billion, why can’t they help the British Steel Industry as well?
The allow cheap Chinese steel to be imported which is heavily subsidised by the Chinese Government. Now in the UK we have thousands of able bodied hard working Steel workers unemployed
Furthermore, why can’t these huge Steel Works be put to use with other manufacturing businesses?
Highly educated people with numerous Degrees in the Government sometime lack ‘Common Sense’

Cos they are a heartless bunch of self serving vermin. But its not just recently, the wretch Thatcher did her best to destroy all our industry's and is the real architect of much that is going on today.

You can't do much with a steel plant except make steel. Maybe it would have helped if the Foreign car manufacturers in this country had used British steel?

My father was in the Steel industry many many years ago. Not much of it left now
