Re: Uncle Joe's new threads

Ruthio I think UJ is trying to see how many threads he can post with Scum bags and Nasty Party in the title

People are of course free to post as many thread as they wish but it becomes confusing for members when so many threads have a similar title.

In the past the Mods edited the title to give a clear topic description but it takes up a lot of time and if the thread starter can't be bothered with posting a proper title that is really their choice.

Now we have a new section for politics it isn't so bad, members can avoid them if they wish.

However, the 'latest thread' list us filling up with them and that can be very off putting to anyone reading it so we are going to have to come up with another solution like merging them all into one Nasty Party threads perhaps

I agree we will soon require a whole new section for nasty party threads, they really are becoming quite tiresome....

Barry they would still show up on the 'Latest Thread' list if a member posts a large number in one go, so it looks like spam.

Re: Uncle Joe's new threads

It doesn't bother me in the least, I find it amusing.
I'd rather see a string of political threads on the front page than horrors, thanks.

It is such a pity that one member can hold the rest of us to ransom in this way.
I look in these days, see all the 'nasty party' threads and then go elsewhere
