So we're supposed "to be all in it together". Some are rather more in it than others. Since the inception of Universal Credit (IDS's brain child) which is now six years late and enormously over-budget, the DWP have proved inept at assessing claims and making appropriate payments. Such delays are placing huge strains on claimants, necessitating many of them to attend food-banks.
Yes delays to claims are getting worse IMO, and if people take a job that doesn't work out its even worse which puts people off trying to get a job I believe.
Not unlike the NUM fund for sick miners and miner's widows and some strange wrong doings by someone called Lavery then. (£250,000 of funds are been investigated).
Do you think they're all cut from the same cloth UJ?
