It is still going on, but a different tack.
The French did naff all for years about the Calais Camps, it suited them not to, they didn't want them in France, let them come to England.
When the Referendum was announced, they started doing something constructive, purely political, designed to help the Remain Vote.
They have clamped down, and unlike the UK, justice is swift.

If it was here, they would be out on bail with a Court Case months away.
The people smugglers have changed what they are doing, loading Migrants onto HGVs miles away from the ports

The people smugglers were from the UK, another example of us not them.
They were naturalised Iraqis which we had let stay.
We do not make things easy for ourselves do we?
