Have you noticed that the camp (the jungle) and immigrants climbing fences to get into lorries, and the channel tunnel issue has gone quiet in the news??

Makes one wonder how much is created for the media to report on.

It is still going on, but a different tack.

The French did naff all for years about the Calais Camps, it suited them not to, they didn't want them in France, let them come to England.

When the Referendum was announced, they started doing something constructive, purely political, designed to help the Remain Vote.

They have clamped down, and unlike the UK, justice is swift.

If it was here, they would be out on bail with a Court Case months away.

The people smugglers were from the UK, another example of us not them.

They were naturalised Iraqis which we had let stay.

We do not make things easy for ourselves do we?

Yes, more than a coincidence that they should suddenly do something about the problem just before we are about to vote IN or OUT!

Clearly, contrary to the blustering French politician I heard on the news the other day claiming that he'd be very happy with Brexit, the French are worried about us leaving.

I suspect that's not only because of the 'membership contributions' that they'll lose, but also the likelihood that the whole caboodle will collapse soon after our exit.

Certainly, the EU benefits French farmers and fishermen a lot more than it does ours.

This just a thought, maybe increased in security have served to decrease these breaches.
