Re: battery chargers

My house often looks the same!!

Have you tried the Sanyo Eneloop XX batteries?
They are brilliant. High capacity, but VERY low self discharge. I pretty much use them in everything.

Re: battery chargers

Big mistake, I bought a Lidl charger for all types of batteries and cells, but after a few weeks, found the cells were seeping. Reverted to the basic plug-in charger, which takes ages. Took a peep at the Sanyo/Panasonic types on Amazon, and they are expensive. Tempted to try Vapex 2900 AA, with a new charger...

Re: battery chargers

Are there any chargers that give a signal that the batteries are charged? With ours its all guess work!

Re: battery chargers

We used to have several chargers. but we found that the battery life didn't last long and we always seemed to be recharging the batteries more than we were using them !
we just buy batteries in bulk now off EBay

Re: battery chargers

Thanks folks. I'll look at those suggested, fender and realspeed. We have two chargers and they both take many hours to charge and we just have to take a guess when they're fully charged. A faster one would be a definite advantage.
