Nigel Farage - Racist!!!

Some time ago I was challenged by ukip supporters to provide evidence that Farage & ukip were racist - proof positive!!!

Just pointing out what happened in Germany on New Years Eve.

Could happen if we stay in the EU with no control over are boreders.

Dont forget Rotheram, i dont see this as racist at all simply pointing out something that has happened elsewhere. Turning a blind eye would be wrong, just because he passes comment does not make him a racist, we seem to be going down the route of shouting down ordinary comments.

What you are seeing here is erosion of Freedom of Speech. It is a great way to pass the buck and to move blame away from the perpetrators. Such tactics have been used elsewhere and are now in constant use here. Before long it will be dangerous to utter a word against such wrong doings. If you can't speak out they never happened did they. Same goes for the press. These will be stifled in time too.

Speak out against the Government in Turkey for instance will more than likely get you landed in prison. Speak out against Islam in certain countries will get you far worse.

Have to disagree on this occasion UJ, it's a bit like mentioning hitler it should be possible to mention things that are wrong without getting called racist or any other ist. What he was saying was it could happen here, not all Muslims or all people from that region are sex attackers.

However I do think some people in ukip are racist Nigel seems to boot them out fairly fast when he finds them.

Branding someone or something racist is also a great tactic for closing down debate on a subject, and a great get out for many an ill deed...

Thank you Julie. A fair post. There are racists in all political parties, even reverse racists. The rest of us are just concerned about the impact of immigration.

No - I don't consider him racist
He speaks my feelings and I don't consider myself racist 'at all'
He speaks sense and has made a 'lot' of politicians sit up and take notice

UJ Is the word 'racist' the latest version of the word 'nasty' to be bandied about whenever possible.
It is a word that should be used with care...
