Furious.
After moving house a few weeks back I mislaid my voting card.
Rang up, got a new card posted to my new address, no problems.......until about 30 minutes ago.

They've sent me a card that is useless because they have me down as requesting a postal vote.grrrrrrr

Tpin, you can hand your postal vote in at the Polling Station.

Yep..

If you’re too late to post your ballot paper back, you can hand it in to your local Electoral Registration Office or take it to your local polling station by 10pm on polling day.

I only got the card.....didn't look at it properly but notice it says "we will send your postal vote around Friday 27 May

Bottom right it says 'you will not be able to vote at a polling station.

That might just be to prevent you voting twice.

That is true, but if you have your postal vote paper you can just hand it in.

It's my own fault.
With all that's been going on I threw it on the side thinking it was the voting card when infact it was just an acknowledgement card. Doh

I don't recall receiving any further correspondence.

There's a further complication, the storms overnight last night and the torrential rain earlier today too have caused chaos with our transport systems. As a consequence, many commuters are being delayed on their journeys home. Some may not get back in time before the polling station closes and thereby denying them the opportunity to vote.
