I left school just turned 15.
I remember starting work in a Stock and Share office as the office boy after only one week of leaving School.
On the switchboard, looking after the post, making the tea and was general office dogsbody.
Seriously, I remember being sent to another office for a long stand.
And there I stood for an hour and a half!
I got paid Ł2 10 shillings a week, and had to hand over Ł2 to my Mum.
