The Marmite debate

Hi

This seems to the biggest issue around Brexit at the moment.

There was panic buying in the village shop.

Love the jokes though.

Do you like it or loathe it?

I bought some marmite from Aldi on Monday as I realised I'd run out, before all the hooha about it lol

Re: The Marmite debate

I honestly don't like it at all. On the other hand, I do like Flora (my wife insists it's not as nice as butter, but it's much easier to spread) and Not Poodle.

Nevertheless, I am willing to forego those pleasures and substitute non-Unilever products in the face of what I consider anti-Brexit greed and political shenanigans by that company.

I hope others feel the same and that Unilever end up with red faces, having shot themselves in the foot.

Re: The Marmite debate

The situation has been resolved - for now anyway.

As for Marmite, I'm undecided but I never think of buying it.
