Do you like black pudding?

I prefer white pudding as it's vegetarian. I can remember eating black pudding as a child before I knew it was basically dried pigs blood.

My mother (she's 92) still eats black pudding with either an apple or rhubarb sauce. I think the continentals eat it this way.

I think I'd like it but it's just the thought of it.

Re: Do you like black pudding?

I love black pudding but very rarely eat it. My dad used to have it with his fry up when I was a child.

Yes, it's commonly eaten with a fry-up but I'm sure there are other ways of eating it, incorporating it into a dish or recipe.

Re: Do you like black pudding?

I love eating the black and the white pudding but the fat content prohibits me from eating it nowadays.

I love sausages but its very difficult to find low fat, low saturated fat and low salt sausages.
I've tried the vegetable sausages but they are just not the same.
