Take Aways

Hi

How often do you have one?

I am flooded with flyers for them, all sorts, but mostly pizza, kebabs and fried chicken.

There are delivery drivers up and down the road every evening, lots of them.

I am convinced that some live on them.

Re: Take Aways

We have a good Chinese take away a couple of miles from us and we occasionally have one from there.

I agree though Meg some of these take away places look so mucky I wouldn't eat from them....it's amazing though driving through city suburbs...take away is very big business there are 100s of them.

We have fish 'n chips and the occasional KFC, but we have never had one delivered in spite of all the flyers that arrive with the post.

We have neighbours who rarely cook.
I'm lucky to be married to an excellent cook and she does like to cook. But now and again she wants a night off and we get a pizza or Chinese delivered.

A Chinese take away every Thursday night, it's the only pleasure I get these days.

Re: Take Aways

Indian Takeaways rarely. I prefer to go to a restaurant. My Chinese is better than the Takeaways, so my family and friends tell me.

Re: Take Aways

There's no set rule but probably once a month. The thing is, sometimes after I have done all the washing, cleaning, shopping, ironing, polishing, gardening and hoovering, sometimes I feel like a night off cooking you know.

We have an Indian take away a few doors away and the smell just makes me fancy it, even if I have just eaten. I would say overall, we have more Indian than Chinese.
