Embarrassed??
Is there anyone (friend or stranger) you would be embarrassed sitting beside in a theatre, movie, or meeting that draws a large crowd?I would be embarrassed sitting beside someone who would never "shut up"........
I would be embarrassed sitting beside someone who reeks of perfume......

Hi Blue...I remember on one occasion, A and I were returning from Florida, after a fun trip and the plane was almost empty. She had her headphones on and was watching the movie "What About Bob"...which was a cute comedy...and very, very, lap slapping funny. She of course did not realize how loud she was being...but the whole plane was laughing with her. I was not embarrassed ...but rather laughing too...she was
...and I am smiling now as I recall the memory...

I don't tend to get embarrassed by others in that way, one of my late closest friends had tourettes very badly, I think if I could sit next to him with no embarrassment nothing else could ever bother me. Mind we did avoid quiet places because it upset others when he'd suddenly bellow a string of fs cs and other lovely profanities.

I sat in the back of a car once with someone who had the worst halitosis and kept chatting to me. She must have thought me odd because I was answering her with my face turned towards the window for the 4 hour drive.When we arrived at destination I had the worst crick in my neck ...never again.
