I watched this, it's a disgraceful attitude but sadly not unexpected.

This will be an interesting thread I posted the same on Twitter and gained so many likes and retweets, people are so angry about the lack of caring. So will be interesting to see how that goes here, where attacking the poster usually overtakes any sense of outrage about the topic.

UJ, some of these idiots act like robots working from a script. How could anyone start spouting off about figures when that tragic story has just been related? He must have a heart of stone! I watched a programme the other evening showing really dirt-poor areas in this country, it was eye-opening. It's so sad that nothing seems to exist for these fat-cat government officials if it happens to be North of Watford. The world doesn't ever see the real poverty here.

Another Minister now 'trashes' the UN report on poverty in the Uk and blames the author on being 'political'. Of course he's being political, because it was 'political' decisions taken by the scumbag 'nasty party' that led to the extent of and increase in levels of poverty in the first place.
