Daft labelling

Do you ever see any daft labelling?

This is hardly worth starting a thread about, it just amused me that's all.

I popped into M & S this afternoon on my way home from lunching out.
I bought some fresh Salmon steaks.

On the back of the packaging it said ......... "Contains Fish".

It did make me titter.

Re: Daft labelling

This got me wandering into the pantry to check the peanut butter, and sure enough, in small bold letters on the the back, the label warns, "Contains peanuts."

Sometimes I think we have lost our collective mind.

Re: Daft labelling

Opened a bottle of foul smelling cleaning fluid tonight and it said on the label don't drink. TBH last thing I was thinking of doing with the smelly stuff.

Seems silly but they have to do this to protect themselves legally.

Aww you've spoilt my post, Surfermom....

Ready meals: "Remove all packaging". Oh I'm glad you told me that. I was going to put my meal-for-two box of Indian korma straight into the oven as it was!

"Do not hold the wrong end of this chainsaw".
