Never buy presents

Used to buy silly things to put round the tree but neither of us can be bothered any more if you want it you buy it

So we never have the problem of what to buy

Don't get me wrong we love the festive season and have everybody to ours Christmas day but we always say no presents

takes all the stree out of it also it does not cost anything apart from food

The trouble is that you miss out on the fun of opening a brightly wrapped parcel that contains, a pair of plain grey grotty socks.
It might be, deoderant. I always get lots of deoderant. Do I stink?
Maybe it could be a box of hankies. I also get lots of hankies. Must check my hooter in the mirror to see if I have any dribbles.

Everything home made here so very little buying this late in the year, we've got a little manic making going on though to finish off a couple of things. I'm making lace for a finishing thinking I watched my nan for years making lace, how hard can it be ? answer aagh it's hard !

I wish we could be more like Vanity, I've still got some jigsaw puzzles in my wardrobe that I received two years ago...And the jumper that'll fit me when I grow up.......

I also love the festive season, but giving and receiving useless stuff is just a waste of time and money......Bah Humbug....
