I wasn't expecting to feel that but there is beauty about them no pretense no hiding, it's how the body should react to age naturally, makes those with surgery trying to stay young looking seems very shallow seeing these pictures.

I thought that was how I'd feel LD took me by surprise I didn't.

I am not sure I would call that amazing old lady's skin 'beautiful' dOOd.
I love and respect very old people, always have done, but I think I feel a little sadness rather than beauty.

To me, she was once a beautfiul young lass no doubt, with her whole life ahead of her, plans and dreams.

But now she has experienced most things she is ever likely to, and her body is winding down, like everything else does in nature. Like a beautiful old tree that has looked wonderful for many years, but is tired now and beginning to wither, bless her.

I think that is how I would interpret it.
