Those Irish will ruin brexit

They don’t just give us pikeys ... because mick and paddy can’t live in peace it appears we can’t leave the Eu .... the uk will forever become a Eu member

No-deal Brexit 'WILL mean hard border on island of Ireland'

EU commission spokesman says it is 'obvious' no deal will mean hard Irish border
Irish PM Leo Varadkar has denied there are any plans to introduce border checks
The DUP says there will not be any need for a hard border even if UK crashes out
No-deal Brexit will mean a hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic, the EU admitted today.

The EU commission gave the clearest indication yet that it will insist on physical checks if the UK crashes out of the bloc.
The comments could spark tensions with the Irish government, which has repeatedly insisted there are no plans for a hard border even if there is no deal.
Irish PM Leo Varadkar has warned that if there is a no-deal Brexit, Ireland and the UK will have to negotiate an agreement that will avoid a hard border.
He told the Irish Parliament: 'Both the UK and Ireland will have an obligation to honour the Good Friday Agreement, protect the peace process and honour our commitment to the people of Ireland and Northern Ireland, that there won't be a hard border.
'We would have to negotiate an agreement on customs and regulations that meant full alignment so there will be no hard border.

Re: Those Irish will ruin brexit

Just more propaganda sensationalism because the EU is petrified we could actually leave on 29 March which is the default position.

Once we're out all of this BS will disappear and people will simply make the deals and arrangements they need to make and will do so quite amicably.

We must press on amidst all this posturing and flannel and see BrExit through.

NO DEAL all the way now.

Unfortunately the EU are not going to allow it and will instruct May to extend Article 50.

Let the EU build a hard border if they want it.

Well said,Muddy.

I've been saying exactly this from the moment the EU brought it up. If they want one,BUILD one...that way, they can be SURE it complies with EU building standards, with EU Elfen-Safety regs...and with their precious EU ''We get what WE want'' regs.

Meanwhile, the riots continue in Paris,Turkey has civil unrest,Greece still hasn't paid a single Euro of it's 'bailout' back,Italy is pissed-off with the whole thing and Barnier et al continue fiddling expenses and stashing wedge in secret accounts.

...just MAYBE,General DeGaulle wasn't such a bad bloke after all...

Would that not go against the Good Friday agreement?

Agree, we will never leave the EU due to NI. A small population who have always been a pain in the ass and little benefit to the UK.
Answer just leave and let them sort their own troubles out , end of day killing each other is their choice and they have a choice.

I agree.

Nothing against Irish people (N or S), but you're right: they are a pain in the arse.

Not all, of course. I have known, and still know some Irish people (I don't know whether they are from the North or the South) who are very nice people. No trouble at all.

As has been mentioned, they export pikeys to us who are a constant menace and, of course, the IRA have never really gone away.

If we allowed - or encouraged - NI to leave the UK and join the Republic, I'm sure Varadkar would love to sort out the differences between the Proddy Dogs and the Cat Licks.
