cleaning up my computer

My computer has been running slow for a while now and it's been driving me mad. I've been asking my husband to do something about it but he hasn't so I thought, sod it, I'll do it myself, soooooooooo, I've done a disk clean up, disk defrag. deleted files I don't need and deleted temp files.

I've restarted my computer and so far so good, fingers crossed!

I'm well proud of me, go me eh, I'm so chuffed I felt the need to share my glee

How do I do a defrag?

Don't think mine's been done for years.

(Keep it simple please!.)

Which OS are you running.

If Windows 10, as far as I know it defragments (optimised) itself automatically.
