Hailstones

The heavens have opened. I've never seen hailstones like this before. They are almost an inch round.

Partly Cloudy

Not a cloud in sight!!!
It is very warm also.

I get scared driving in those big hailstones.

Re: Hailstones

My wife was picking up two grandkids from dance class just as it started. Poor kids didn't understand what was happening!
They came in drenched.

Re: Hailstones

We've not had anything like you've had Floydy.

Just a couple of short showers, but still sunny and warm in between.

I think we've got some more gale force winds on the way though.

Re: Hailstones

nothing like that here in East Sussex, bright sunshine all day. I was told that the area I live in has its own micro climate. Even when Bexhill on sea is having bad weather we seem to miss it completely. We must have a sheltered part of the south coast

My parents used to have a holiday place in Sussex, RS.
Do you know Selsey, not far from Chichester?

Re: Hailstones

We get this type of weather at times. The hail isn’t usually that big but has been.
