Good morning Monday

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!

Grey and overcast here but it’s early yet. Prolonged sunny spells expected, staying dry and turning very warm. Maximum temperature of 29ºC. It’s supposed to get hotter later in the week!

With temperatures like that I will not be exerting myself too much! No doubt whatsoever that I will be finding a nice, cool place for the day.

Baz, I think we'll be experiencing very similar weather to yourself here in East Yorkshire. It was 19° already driving home from work.

In this beautiful weather I don't go to the gym. That is utterly pointless and a complete waste of enjoying the sunshine. I keep myself fit at work anyway. Nope, I'll be in the garden reading my book.

We've got the grandchildren coming to stay for a few days so it's going to be a busy time.

Hardly conducive to good sleep when working nights!

Have as good a day as possible Floydy, I know from experience just what it's like. When it was hot I often used to actually sleep during the day out in the garden under my apple tree, when the children were at school that was.

Going out for a Chinese lunch today .
This means I shall pig out and then feel ill later
( I just can't resist Singapore noodles )

Good Morning all,

Am I the only one who is dreading the coming heat wave? I will probably follow my cat's example - sleep all day on the floor and wake up at night time when it is (hopefully) cooler. It is what I normally do in hot weather.

Good morning everyone

Just waiting for my little grandson to wake up then breakfast and off out to enjoy the day....not sure where yet but it will be fun....I will be jiggered when we get back ....in fact probably before we get back

Good morning - Grey skies here at present. I'll be riding to the allotment later to tend to this 'n' that. We'll be going into town on the bus this afternoon.
