Dog Licensing.

Hi

Bitten by a dog?

No chance of compensation but covered by their car Insurance.

Time to change the system.

Compulsory Insurance for every dog you have.

No great shakes, just make it compulsory by means of putting a 20 %Tax on Dog Food.

If you have multiple dogs, pay for them, it is your problem, not ours.

Ey? What is - Our problem, not yours?

I already have 3rd party insurance for all my dogs Swim, and always have had.
It is not just biting, it covers if they ran in the road and caused an accident and other things too.

Nothing to do with more tax on dog food, nor my car insurance.

some people bite harder than dogs

One bite one bullet in those kind of people

Sorted. If only

dogs who bite usually have reason, a lot of the time it's the fault of the owner.

Got out of bed the wrong side this morning Swimmy?

I chose to buy my two pooches, and because we believe we should act responsibly as pet owners, we immediately took out Lifetime insurance for them, £18.02 per month for each of them. Off the top of my head, I believe that is £216 per year for each of them which covers them for every single eventuality. Putting 20% on the price of dog food wouldn't affect us in the slightest as my fussy duo only have freshly made meat, veg and brown rice. However, it could well affect people with less income, such as pensioners etc, that probably already spend a huge chunk of their meagre, miserly state pensions in order to buy dog food for their loving companion dogs.

I don't understand your desire to punish people such as these? Have you been bitten by a dog?

Re: Dog Licensing.

Hi

Nope, not targeted at anyone, just a fact of life.

Certainly not anything to do with getting out of bed at the wrong side this morning.

I have had dogs most of my life, I enjoy them.

This was brought about by a local incident, a littlie badly bitten by a dog,

Mum has to take time off work which she cannot afford.

The owner of the dog is a pillock, thought it was funny.

I do not.
