Good morning Friday
Good morning everyone, a frosty start here but rain forecast for later this morning and another stormy weekend in prospect.. eek...Our roofers finally finished yesterday so hopefully our flooding problem is solved, but I feel for anyone with severely flooded properties, there can be nothing more distressing than losing your house and posessions to the floods.
No plans for the day other than Tescos first thing then down the chippie for lunch.
Keep your chin up folks, it's going to be a long weekend..

It has been a lovely Friday here - in the Goldilocks zone. All my washing dried beautifully.26°C today and about the same tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last day of Summer and we enter Autumn but still another month before the clocks go back.
Level 2 Water restrictions are lifted from 1st March so on Sunday I can wash the car with the hose if I wanted to (I won't).

Yet more rain forecast., so another stay in day.
I am wanting to get my veg seeds started, but no point as the grden is flooded with more rain forecast.
It will be weeks before the soil is workable.

Good Morning everyone.The weather goblins are really angry about something - woke up to the news we are due for yet another storm!
Going out with friends later this morning shopping then lunch somewhere - my turn to pay. There is a really nice 'carvery' not far from the shops.

Good morning everybody.Hospital visit for me today that will most likely take up all the afternoon.
I have to see a consultant about the lipoma on my throat & if he agrees to surgery I will have to have a pre opp assessment.
No other plans for the day except maybe nip into Morrisons which is next door to the hospital.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!Dry but chilly here. Outbreaks of rain, persistent and heavy at times this afternoon with it becoming increasingly windy is the forecast. Maximum temperature 10ºC.
Nothing planned for today as I’ve only just woken up. Probably another day indoors though!

Good morning everyone what a depressing day it is almost dark and pouring with rain, a little more water to add to the floods surrounding us .I was going out but won't bother, there is plenty to do here with cleaning and tidying. I get so many bad health days now when I can do very little I need to get as much as I can done on good days. I am waiting for a clinic appointment to have my medication changes which might help but that could be months away.
Off to scrub the kitchen floor , enjoy your day

Good morning - It's cold, wet and windy outside this morning and certainly not a day for visiting the allotment. Maybe won't be able to ride over and see my brother either. The only thing that needs going out for is to drop a prescription in at the doctors. I'll do that in the car.
