Branson Bailout

Can you believe the nerve of this bloke? Billionaire Richard Branson is wanting a state bailout for his Virgin Atlantic airline.
The staff has been laid off without pay and if he does manage to get the bailout, it won't be used to pay salaries.

What I'd like to know is why the hell he can't pay for himself out of his vast fortune?

Perhaps he'd best ask Jeff Bezos for a loan as he's just got 4 billion richer after unloading a wad of Amazon shares ... needless to say, lucky man, at pre coronavirus stock market slump prices.

These people give capitalism a bad name with their greed. Jamie Oliver is another one, his restaurants went bust and, in spite of all his millions, he didn't even pay the suppliers, many of whom were virtually bankrupted themselves by his business failures.
