Boat migrants coming to Uk

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/202...k-coronavirus/

Of the 521 migrants that have reached British shores since the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown, the majority arrived in April, with over 400 migrants illegally entering the country since the beginning of the month.

This means that April will be a record month for illegal crossings of the Channel.

They are those who are known to have got here as obviously they were caught. I wonder just how many others arrived and then disappeared into the 'black economy' never to be seen again?

This is an issue heavy on our plate here in America. We are constantly criticized for not allowing ourselves to be infiltrated and invaded by other nations that have some of the most strict and non-humanitarian immigration policies on the books.

My suggestion is to have the invaded country adopt the immigration policies of the "immigrant's" home country. I'm sure that will stop any and all whining and crying by the "sensitive and enlightened" media.

We are t like that we go and rescue them and instead of towing them back to France we bring them back to the UK .
This insane policy will lead to violence and social unrest .
Most of these young men come from North Africa were life is cheap and will bring their cultural mores with them.

Re: Boat migrants coming to Uk

We have enough problems of our own right now in this country, let the countries these people are travelling through deal with, as they should, those who wish to leave their home countries. Do any of these people have health checks for coronavirus? Those that are not caught and subsequently disappear definitely will not have been checked!

They are also more likely to have Covid19 . Having been with so many in a small boat, there will always be some who cough & sneeze in these circumstances
Why can't the government see that they are a greater risk to our economy if we don't make them return to where they came from?

The majority of these people have journeyed through several countries to get here so why did not these countries not turn them back from the start.

I understand it's all to do with 'the rules' that they cannot be returned. It's time we, as a country, started to do what is best for us for a change, especially under present circumstances.

Other countries the migrants travel through don't appear to play by the rules so why should we? This has now got to where it's a case of survival for some of us, we need to take appropriate steps to prevent this at all costs.
