Jacinda Ardern gets all Shook Up

The NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was live on air when an earthquake rocked the Wellington region this morning.




She is a class act under any circumstance.

Geonet originally graded the quake a 5.9, and it was followed by a 3.5-magnitude shake, then one of 3.6, then 3.7.

A witness felt strong shaking in Wellington, where all trains were suspended while engineers assessed the impact.

Only the second world leader (apart from monarchs. Who are not really leaders as such) apart from Benazir Bhutto who has given birth while in office. Her daughter's name is Neve. Below with baby Neve and partner Clarke.

Another 5.2 half an hour ago the 20th lesser quake after the 5.8 yesterday.
Yes Jacinda is pretty cool. Can't think of a worse term in office except maybe for WW2. She's had to cope with a terrorist killing last March, a volcanic eruption that killed and now Covid19.
