Scrap it

https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/13...eresa-may-poll

According to the report by the Centre for Brexit Policy, Mrs May’s deal contained “poison pills” which will undercut Britain’s sovereignty.
Breaking news, can you guess.

David Frost, the Prime Minister’s chief negotiator with the EU, has previously claimed there was not enough time to fix all of the defects in order to deliver the Government’s promise to get Brexit done.

Just read the letter barnier sent to marc francois in answer of francois' letter.
In short: marc francois, you, and the rest of the HoC voted for ratifying the WA and political declaration boris signed. Didn't you read what you voted for?

Re: Scrap it

I think we should just let the 'transition period' drag on until the end of the year and then, as suggested in the article, tear up the withdrawal agreement and proceed without a trade agreement.

What is the EU going to do about it?

We are now legally an independent sovereign state. If Treason May made some sort of agreement with the EU, and it included some small and easily missed little 'traps' she had set, then it must have been done without the full agreement of our executive body (the government).

Let the EU challenge us if they don't like it. What are they going to do?

We shall be under no obligation to recognise the ECJ.

Ripping the WA up? Yeah, you would like that!

The WA arranges for ending the UK's membership of the EU. If you declare it void, it would mean you are still members. By effect, you wouldn't have left on 31 januari 2020.

We can't have that. We're only too glad to be rid of you.
If you want to become members again, use article 49.

That is what marc francois thought. He himself voted for the ECJ to retain jurisdiction.

Re: Scrap it

Maybe only I don't see it but when I read
"The issues include the Northern Ireland Protocol, the right of EU citizens, the controversial £39billion divorce payment, future financial liabilities, EU data protection laws, EU geographical indications of origin which are not reciprocal, and provisions relating to UK sovereign bases in countries like Cyprus."

what specifically (at least one or two details would have been nice) do they mean?

And besides, did nobody read it before debating for months and months and finally signing?

[UPDATE]: I could not (as usual) find another newspaper with that news about the pills in the WA except the Express.

Hm... I think we can ignore that news, it is click bait.
