Why do people do this

Yet another case of diabolical neglect.

This poor girl was taken in by an RSPCA branch in Lancashire.
It really is way beyond my comprehension how some people can let a dog get like this.

Even if the owner is ill himself, he could ask for help.
I cannot make any excuse whatsoever for such shocking neglect.
It makes me weep.

aww thats terrible,how can anyone let an animal get like that and i bet they got away with it.

Although I'm not a dog person (and Marge isn't a dog either), I find that treatment of someone's pet absolutely disgusting.

Like so many types of crime in this country, there are such lenient consequences for people who commit these crimes that there is no incentive for them not to continue doing these evil things.

If only I had my way...

I'm not a pet person either but I reckon the owner of that dog should be strung up by his/her short ones. It's not as if there isn't a PDSA anywhere near by is it?

I think my views on animal neglect and cruelty are well known, but just to re-iterate them, I'd rescue the animal and have the perpetrators put down... 😡

You have to be on certain benefits ,to visit the PDSA.

Not sure why this happened....it’s appalling....I don’t know the circumstances ,so unable to comment.

So happy that the dog recovered....

Do you? I thought it was a charity that was open to those that couldn't afford to go to a regular vet. Shows how wrong I am.

I used to take my German Shepard, many moons ago,...I was on benefits
I tried to take Rosie, when she was dying, as the vet bill was racking up....they said,I had to be on certain benefits,that I didn’t qualify.that was my experience.
