Lovely photo, Besoeker! There have been a few bees round about here, but fewer than normal I would say.

That must be because they are all down here!
I've seen loads, and had quite a few of those huge fluffy ones come indoors too. Not sure, but I think I may have a nest under my shed.

I've also never seen so many Ladybirds, and their little black and yellow baby grubs too crawling about, too.

I haven't seen a ladybird in over 2 years! I think you are sneaking up here with a big net and scooping up all our insects!

not the easiest thing to photograph. Apart from wind there is the insect movement and focus to contend with. So well done

I am not many miles from the border with Northamptonshire and there are lots of the big, fluffy bumble bees here, there's a nest of them under the edge of my patio!

No ladybirds as yet though, they will arrive next, possibly when it gets a little warmer when the heating stops coming on automatically in the mornings.
