How to Reset Your Brain!

When you're feeling fed up, towards the end of a long day at work, or on the internet, or watching TV, you need to reset your brain!

(Mods, please do not move this to the Technical, or Medical Topics).

So start here.

1) Set an alarm, for 7PM (not if you are going to the Pictures, or a show!).
2) As the alarm goes off, do not reset it. Jump to your feet and, bang the table, kick your chair, shout & scream, for one whole Minute.(Do not kick, or scream, at your pet dog or cat)
3) Resume sitting, now quiet, and observe the people around you (if any). They will be staring!
4) You should, now, be feeling on top of the world!

I'm doing it again at 9 pm. On the doorstep, in aid of myself!

Enjoy it!

(if you hear a bell ringing, it might be the nutter transport!)

p.s. Don't delay until 8 pm, I think England are playing!

Tedc – watch out when you are on the doorstep, your 'nutter transport' may be out there,
the men in white coats may well have arrived!

I have to admit though to knowing what you mean about a 'Brain Reset',
especially with this second lockdown!

What a strange thing to do Ted if I did that poor Chloe would probably have a heart attack .

A kinder way to 'reset your brain' is to lay flat on your back on the floor,
...do 'belly breathing' long slow breaths using your stomach muscles,
...use visualisation methods to transport you to a quiet place like walking barefoot in the grass by the river listening to the water, or floating on a cloud...

Good thinking, Meg, I'd give it a try but my smelly feet might kill all of the flora & fauna!

I have set my alarm for 8pm, just in time to shout at the England footballers.

Can't do it. 7pm clashes with Aussie Gold Hunters.
