"I would be willing to forecast that if they continue without allowing a second referendum, within 10 years Britain will be back in the European Union again.
"A lot of people my age will have died out and young people will overwhelmingly realise what a mistake was made and they will vote to join the European Union again.
"It is just sad to see the damage that is going to be done in the meantime".
A non specific comment, any damage wholly attributable to politicians. Wishful thinking.

Has he not noticed the ill-feeling among some of the EU countries, and not just East European ones, even France?
My counter-forecast is that within ten years we shall see other EU countries leaving the Empire, especially as they see the progress that we have made, even despite Boris's dithering and going down on the knee to Brussels!
They're already talking about it.
