Things don't usually happen if 5 mins, it takes time to get to know people.

Hi, Anne. I am new here too. The nice thing about a forum is that you already have something in common with the other members. I see that you enjoy cooking. You don't have to start a thread yet, if that feels cumbersome, but you might try looking at the "Food and Drink" or "General Chat" categories and responding to a few threads here and there. In no time you will get the hang of it!

I have been here 2 years and have made a few friends, but it could be more if some lived nearer to me.All you need to do is keep posting and, when your personality becomes more apparent, people will want to get to know you better.
The crowd on here are really nice people.... and they are great at lifting your spirits when you have a problem you can share.
You stay with us anne62, tell us what you think about things and you will soon have a few friends.
