Re: How do you charge your devices?

Goodness me, you are an organised lot!

I only charge something when I can see it's getting low - which reminds me, my phone is getting low.

Recently - perhaps due to my current situation - I've let my toothbrush, 2 sets of headphones, a phone all crash down to zero - warbling out to me that they need a charge.

Do you have a proper system?
I have very few things that need charging - so no system - just wait for something to shout at me. Apart from the camera - I check that everyday and charge up when it hits critical!

Yes, MC, I have been told that as well - hence I do not worry about things until they bleep.

It's willy nilly for me. I now have to hide my chargers and cords with booby traps and treasure maps.

Each time I find a charger and then get a full charge, I feel elated and victorious.

(Nearly) adult children, you see.

Old news.

With newer batteries anything between 40 - 90 is advised to charge up. Letting your smartphone go down to low charge often will decrease its battery life

That's interesting, Ffosse.
Since your original post I have been thinking - and I have more things to charge than I realised.

Mobile phone - when it bleeps - which is not often as hardly used.
Secateurs - once per year.
Lap Top - when it bleeps.
Camera - checked daily - topped up when red light showing.
Cordless landline phone - charges at night when returned to it's docking station.
Zen MP3 player - when it bleeps.

I charge my devices well before they are about to die on me.

Everybody's different - I don't know quite why I've been come so obsessive about having my phones charged.

I do admire the secateurs once a year, though, pity more devices couldn't be like that.

I always replace my cordless landline phone to the docking station immediately after making or taking a call.

Re: How do you charge your devices?

I charge my mobile when it gets down to 50%. I don't use my iPad all that often, so it's mostly turned off. My laptop is continuously on charge. I charge my wifi headphone every Sunday morning. I don't have an electric toothbrush.
I do have a portable charger for if I'm out for the whole day, If I remember to take it with me
