Barry, l think that must be one of the most shocking things, l have ever read.Flying glass! It’s lucky a shard of glass didn’t hit a main artery.
I would contact the shower screen manufacturer to ask them to investigate as to how this could have happened so easily.
I am glad that you are ok but you must still be in shock?

I am glad that you are ok but you must still be in shock?
From the image that Barry posted, it looks like safety glass which shatters into small pieces unlikely to result in a fatal injury.
