Quite right.

We'll share some of our secrets if they share some of their trade deals!

I suspect that we could increase productivity by encouraging many of our people, who prefer to sit at home living on benefits, to actually work for their money.

How to do that? Well, it doesn't take much working out!

Hi

We are the ones leaving those trade Deals, not the EU.

It is not for the EU to share, they can't, it is for the UK to renegotiate them with the Countries we had them with as part of the EU.

The EU is not stopping us, they have raised no objections at the WTO.

Liam Fox has upset some of the Countries, hence the complaints to the WTO.

He did not negotiate, he told them what we would give them.

Other Countries have also objected to the WTO, in particular the USA.

Being a huge economy is not the be all and end all of things. quality of life is much more important.

Would you want to live in India where hundreds of millions do not even have a toilet, or China where the pollution is so bad you need to wear a mask?

If we stopped insisting on being a Tier One Military Power and sticking our noses in where they are not wanted and slashed our Foreign Aid Budget we could make life much better here.
SF in the financial year 17-18 India bought $8.83B from the UK and we bought $5.19 B from them. The UK being their 18th largest trading partner. As we trade with these countries at present, I fail to see the argument for doing our own trade deals.

Hope you can enlighten me without any jbr type comments which you seem far above.

Employing more people to produce a set quantity of goods decreases the productivity quotient but is good for society.

Employing fewer people and investing in better machinery is better for productivity and probably secureslonger term employment for the lesser number of workers but means higher unemployment.

It's a dilemma!

Hi

India has a fast growing middle class which has money to spend.

It is an expanding market for our high end goods which are subject to both Tariffs and Non Tariff Barriers.

We will never be able to compete with SE Asia, China etc on cost, electronics, TV's etc.

We can gain on high end goods.

I would much rather we were selling them Aston Martins than the Italians selling them Ferraris.

Hi

No, wrong way round.

We are the ones leaving.

We are part of Five Eyes, the EU is not.

We do not share everything with them.

You need to look up what the No Deal lot are saying about leaving the EU Arrest Warrant.

Yes, and when (IF?) we leave their exclusive little club, they will - by default - leave our security club.

We won't let them in.

Re: Why are people so surprised?

I think I might be going mad, am I only one think it's immoral to not share security information with all the people it affects ?

Deals and contracts ? no morals at all.
